Mormon cooking is different because it is a harmonious collection of recipes from such places as Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the United States. The recipes utilize whole grains, fresh vegetables and fruits, but no liquor as encouraged by the Word of Wisdom principles (discussed in the book).
