Each year, powwows are celebrated by many thousands of Native North Americans who come together from many different tribes.
Celebrating the Powwow introduces children to the people and traditions of the powwow. Native American symbols and dances, such as the jingle-dress dance and hoop dance, are shown in action-filled color photographs.
